Full of history and character, Il Muretto is a two-bedroom apartment in Spello, Umbria. Once part of the farmhouse dairy, it retains original stonework, vaulted ceilings & the natural rock of Monte Subasio. Comfortable living spaces, a well-equipped kitchen and a multi-level terrace with valley views complete the stay.

The living and dining room is where Il Muretto's history really comes through. The natural rock of Monte Subasio forms a striking feature within the room, sitting alongside the property's original pink limestone walls.
Comfortable leather sofas provide plenty of space to unwind, while the dining table seats up to eight for relaxed meals together. There's also a large TV with Netflix and a sofa bed for quieter evenings in.

The well-equipped kitchen has plenty of room to prepare meals at home, whether you're putting together breakfast before heading out or cooking with fresh ingredients picked up in Spello.
An original vaulted ceiling brings character to the space, while the glazed entrance fills it with natural light and opens towards the terrace.

The modern bathroom is thoughtfully designed with abundant storage space. In the shower, you can choose between a rain shower or standard showerhead and enjoy a long, soothing hot shower after a day of hiking or exploring. Heated towel rails and power points for shavers and hairdryers ensure maximum convenience.

The main bedroom is peaceful and comfortable, with a queen-sized bed and a window framing beautiful views across the surrounding landscape.
Generous wardrobe space, a safe and air conditioning for the warmer months give you everything you need to properly settle in.

The second bedroom has two single beds and retains some of Il Muretto's most distinctive original features from its time as part of the dairy farmhouse.
The vaulted ceiling and original hooks remain in place, bringing the history of the building into a comfortable, characterful room.

Il Muretto opens onto a multi-level terrace with sweeping views across the Umbrian landscape. Find a spot for morning coffee, sit outside as the day unfolds or gather on the spacious lower terrace for drinks and dinner.
The lower terrace is shared with Amici e Famiglia above, with plenty of space and seating for guests from both apartments.

The light and spacious entrance hall connects the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom, with useful storage for coats and outdoor gear. Original features, including the vaulted ceiling, have been carefully retained.
Shallow steps surrounded by plants and trees provide an inviting approach to this charming apartment.
